Indian share market opened lower on Tuesday against the previous day’s closing. The Nifty also fell in the morning hours on global cues. The Indian rupee opened slightly lower against the USD. Tata Motors shares will be in focus as Tata Sons has offered to buy about 1.7% of Tata Motors shares of Rs 2,000 crore on Tuesday at a premium of 4% over Monday’s closing price.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) and Ford have announced a strategic association to look at cooperation on products, technologies and distribution and future mobility programmes and electrification of cars, as reported by the company.
Bharti Airtel plans to spend more than Rs.32,000 crore in the next two years to expand its network and gain 3-4 percentage points in revenue market share.
