The Indian share market snapped seven-day losing line on Friday with normal volume ahead of Christmas holiday but overall closed the week with nearly 2 percent losses. GST implementation helped the market close in green after losing 718 points on the sensex in previous seven consecutive session.
The 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 61.10 points or 0.24% at 26040.70, it was touched a high of 26,143.19 and touch a low of 25,872.38.
The 50-share NSE Nifty index ended up 6.65 points or 0.08% at 7985.75, it was touched a high of 8,022.60 and touch a low of 7,942.05.
Market experts expect the consolidation to be continue as the F&O contract of the December month will be expiry next Thursday.
