Indian share markets have opened in the red in early trade Thursday. At 10.25 am, the BSE Sensex was trading lower by 144 points at 31,653 while the NSE Nifty50 index was trading lower by 51 points at 9,857. The BSE Mid Cap and Small Cap were trading down by 0.1% each. Loses are mainly seen in capital goods, auto stocks and power stocks. The rupee is trading at Rs 63.75 against the US Dollar.
The shares of Dr. Reddy Laboratories and Sun Pharmaceuticals advanced, whereas Tata Motors and ONGC shares were declined in the morning hours
BSE Industrials is the main losing while Tata Motors Ltd is contributing mainly to the index losses and picking it to lower levels. The rupee opened lower versus the USD (63.97 per dollar, down 0.20 percent) in early trade.
