Sensex ended up, Nifty down, BSE market top gainers and losers, Rupee low 68.75/dollrs

The Indian rupee after striking a record low of 68.75 has shown some strength on alleged intercession from the Reserve Bank of India. The partly convertible rupee was at 68.04, down 180 paise, against its previous close of 66.24 at.

The BSE Sensex ended positive wave 28.07 points or 0.16% at 17996.15, Intraday market touched a high levels of 18101.84 and touch a low levels 17448.71.

The NSE Nifty was ended negative wave 2.45 points or 0.05 per cent falls at 5285.00, Intraday market touched a high levels of 5317.70 and touch a low levels of 5118.85.
