Indian Hume Pipes surges 5% on bagging orders of Rs 177 crore

Indian Hume pipeShares of Indian Hume Pipe Ltd soared 4.5% today, 17 march 2017, as the company announced that it has received an order of Rs 177 crore. The stocks registered a huge surge in volume by 1.45 times, touching an intraday high of Rs 428 per share on the BSE.

Indian Hume Pipes is currently trading at Rs 422.85, up by Rs 14.05 from its previous closing of Rs 408.8 on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 420.95 and has hit a high of Rs. 428.55 and a low of Rs 420.95. The present market cap of the company is Rs, 1,980.52 crore. The company’s consolidated profit rose 182.09 per cent to Rs 17.80 crore on 105.30 per cent rise in net sales to Rs 406.50 crore in quarter third December 2016 over quarter third December 2015.
