Friday 21 April Dollar Industries hits 5% upper circuit on debut on NSE

Stock trading news Dollar Industries Ltd a major in readymade garments industry, got listed on the NSE, today, 21 April, 2017 at Rs 1,314 per share, amid high volume of 16,500 shares. The stock hit a 5% upper circuit at Rs 1,379.70 after it settled at Rs 1,314 in pre-opening session. The stock traded with volumes of 21,574 equity shares in the morning hours today. Dollar Industry’s listing of the company on NSE is expected to provide liquidity to the prospective investors, and earn more visibility for the company. Hem Securities Limited was the listing advisor to the issue.

Dollar Industries Ltd has a market share of over 15% in the branded knitwear market, and has presence across Nepal, Middle East and Gulf countries. The Company having manufacturing units in Kolkata, Tirupur, Delhi and Ludhiana.

Dollar Industries had posted profit at Rs 6.06 crore against Rs 3.82 crore in year-ago quarter ended December 2016. The revenue fell to Rs. 166.21 crore from Rs. 196.23 crore year on year.
